Pea Pesto (toss with any grain or protein)

gluten free
high in vitamin K, fiber, protein
promotes bone health, low in cholesterol

1/4c toasted organic walnuts
2c organic fresh or frozen peas + 1 tsp for garnish
1c organic parsley
3 cloves garlic
1/2c grated pecorino romano cheese
sea salt to taste
freshly ground organic black pepper to taste
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1.In a food processor, mix walnuts, peas, parsley, garlic, cheese, sea salt, pepper.
2. Slowly pour extra virgin olive oil while mixing, up to 2 minutes.
3. Serve, garnish with peas.
