“Masala” Steel Cut Oats

non-diary, gluten free, low glycemic index
lowers cholesterol, high fiber, high protein
B-vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, molybdenum

3 cups filtered water
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 cup steel cut oatmeal
1 tsp maple syrup per bowl
1 tsp kesari milk masala per bowl

1. Bring filtered water to a boil
2. Add sea salt
3. Add oatmeal
4. Reduce heat to simmer
5. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes
6. Remove from heat; let stand for 3 minutes
7. Serve in bowls
8. Top with maple syrup
9. Garnish with milk masala
